A lovely medium bodied blend of Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo. 3 days of skin contact, and aged in stainless steel, so very gluggable. Visionary winemaker Danilo Marcucci makes this wine, like all that he makes, with as little intervention as possible. Red fruit and a touch of funky spice on the nose, then savoury and refreshing on the palate. Tart strawberry, fresh herbs, and a little bit of citrus. Best served lightly chilled.
